Saturday 11th – Saturday 18th July 2015: Italy – Tropea/Gizzeria

Tropea is a seaside resort located in Calabria. Tropea is situated on a reef in the Gulf of St. Euphemia and it is related to the Tyrrhenian Sea. Tropea is one of the most beautiful towns in Calabria, the pearl of the Tyrrhenian coast. Octavian Augustus liked the picturesque and therefore decided to built a trading port there.  According to the legend, the city founder was Hercules, returning from Spain, he settled on the coast of the Gods, and so there was Tropea, one of the Hercules’s ports.

With that experience we would like to transmit passion about sports and Mediterranean biology ecosystem.

We will join the Hang Loose Beach’s team, one of the best Kitesurfing school in Italy; take part of a marine biology workshop with ‘Tropea Diving Organization’ by snorkeling or diving,  visit the Monte Poro by bike, relax on a cosy private sail boat around the coast.
